Prototype the feeling

Make the question concrete

A prototype is most useful when it answers one question. Does the menu feel clear? Does the image sequence invite exploration? Can someone reach the next project without learning a new interaction?

Work at the right fidelity

A rough prototype can test a structure. A polished motion study can test timing and atmosphere. Choose the smallest experiment that produces an honest answer, then keep what you learn.

Include the less glamorous states

Keyboard focus, slow connections and reduced motion belong in the prototype. They reveal whether an idea is a robust experience or a fragile performance.
